皆さん、お元気ですか？

日本は、夏らしい気温になってきました！

最近は、毎日暑いです。洗濯物がよく乾きますね🤗

母が植えてくれた、ミニトマトですが、やっと青い実がなってきました。

食べられるまで、もうすぐかな？

毎日少しずつ伸びています。

朝起きて、ミニトマトに水をあげるのが、楽しみになっています😊

この前、近所を歩いていたら、畑を見つけました。

きゅうりやとうもろこしの夏野菜と、ねぎや玉ねぎがありました。

畑を見ると、野菜がどんなふうに育つのかわかるので面白いですね。

玉ねぎは、種をまいてから収穫まで、10ヶ月かかるそうです。

私たち人間のようですね😊

私は、夏になると食欲が減り、トマトときゅうりばかり食べています。

私のからだは、トマトときゅうりでできている。というくらい、食べます😂

トマトはそのまま、きゅうりは毎日漬け物にして食べています。

近所の八百屋さんの、トマトときゅうりがおいしいんです。

きゅうりは7本で200円です。とても安いので助かります。

でも、バランスよく、いろんな野菜を食べれるようにしたいですね。

なんだか今日は、話がトマトときゅうりばかりになってしまいましたね😅

好きなものは、毎日食べても飽きないものですね！

今日もまた、やおやさんに行ってきます！😆

Hi everyone, how are you?

In Japan, the temperature is starting to feel like Summer!

Lately, it is hot every day. The laundry dries very well.

The mini tomato plants that my mother planted for us have finally born some green fruit.

I think they’ll be ready to eat soon.

Each day, the plants grow little by little.

I look forward to waking up in the morning and watering the mini tomato plants.

The other day, I found a vegetable plot when walking through our neighborhood.

The plot had summer vegetables like corn and cucumbers. It also had onions and negi (green onions).

Seeing a vegetable plot teaches you how vegetables grow. It’s interesting.

I hear that, from seed to harvest, onions take 10 months to grow.

They take as long as humans do!

In the summertime, my appetite decreases, and I eat a lot of tomatoes and cucumbers.

I eat them so often that you could say my body is made up of them! 😂

I eat tomatoes as is, and the cucumbers I make into pickles each day.

The greengrocer in our neighborhood has delicious tomatoes and cucumbers.

It costs 200 yen for 7 cucumbers. That’s very cheap, so it’s great for us.

But I also want to make sure to eat a good balance of other veggies.

Well, it seems like all I ended up talking about today were tomatoes and cucumbers… 😅

When it’s food you like, you can eat it every day without growing bored.

I will go to the greengrocer today too.
